Florida dwelling fire insurance · DP-3
Flexible protection for the properties that matter most

- Up to $3MReplacement cost limits for your property, with higher values subject to underwriting review
- Up to $500KLiability coverage, when selected and eligible
- No maximumNumber of insured dwellings, subject to eligibility and underwriting review
Who it’s for
Built for a variety of property owners
Orange Insurance’s DP-3 policy is available for primary residences, seasonal homes, short-term rentals, long-term rentals, or a combination of these occupancy types, subject to eligibility.
Rental property owners
Protect single-family rental homes while tenants insure their own belongings. A DP-3 policy helps protect the dwelling itself and may provide optional liability coverage for landlords.
Vacation and seasonal rentals
If you rent out your Florida vacation or seasonal home, a DP-3 policy offers flexible coverage for short-term and seasonal rental use. If you live in the home part of the year and don’t rent it out, ask your agent whether a Homeowners (HO-3) policy is a better fit.
Homes that don’t fit a standard policy
Some owner-occupied homes may not meet the eligibility requirements for a traditional homeowners policy. In certain situations, a Dwelling Fire policy may provide an alternative.

- Optional personal property coverage
- Other structures on your property
If your policy includes wind coverage, it will include a separate hurricane deductible that applies to covered hurricane losses.

Replacement cost
Orange Insurance uses industry-leading replacement cost estimating software to help determine how much coverage you need to rebuild your property at today’s construction costs.

Unlike a homeowners policy, a Dwelling Fire policy allows lower personal property limits to cover landlord-owned furnishings, appliances, and other personal property.
