What Is a Reciprocal Insurance Exchange?
Orange is a reciprocal insurance exchange, which means our policyholders are also Members — sometimes referred to as Subscribers — of the Exchange.
In a reciprocal, Members come together to insure one another, with the Exchange operating for their collective benefit. It’s a structure that keeps the interests of our Members at the center of the decisions we make.
When you choose Orange, you’re more than a policyholder. You’re an Orange Member.
Built for Florida
Orange combines Florida property insurance experience with modern technology, thoughtful underwriting, and a commitment to responsive service.
We offer coverage for a variety of Florida properties, including primary residences, secondary and seasonal homes, condominiums, rental properties, and other residential risks.
Depending on the policy and property, Members may also have access to additional coverage options designed to provide broader protection for their homes, belongings, and the systems they rely on every day.
Our goal is simple: provide dependable protection while making it easier for Members and their independent insurance agents to do business with Orange.
A New Chapter for Orange
Orange continues to invest in the people, technology, and infrastructure needed to serve our Members and independent insurance agents directly.
Beginning September 1, 2026, Orange introduced its new policy management platform for new business, bringing more of the insurance experience under the Orange name.
This transition represents an important step in Orange’s growth and gives us greater ability to enhance the experience for our agents and Members over time.
Members with policies administered through our previous systems do not need to take action simply because of this transition. If anything is required regarding your policy, Orange or your independent insurance agent will provide specific instructions.
