Quoting and submissions

Which system should I use for my quote?

Use Equinox for quotes that are started on or after September 1, 2026. Quotes started before September 1 should remain in Cabrillo/CabGen through September 30, then transition to Equinox.

Where can I find eligibility guidelines and product details?

Review the current Product Highlights (PDF) before submitting a risk. These materials are updated as needed and bring product details and eligibility guidance together in one place.

What happens when I submit a quote for review?

Submitting a quote in Step 11 is a formal request to bind the policy. It is not a request for preliminary underwriting feedback.

If you need an informal review before you are ready to bind, call or email Underwriting instead of submitting the quote.

Equinox access

How do I get Equinox access?

Each staff member needs an individual Equinox login; do not share login credentials.

To request access, the agency principal should email agencies@orangeinsure.com. Please allow approximately 24 hours for processing.

I'm a QuoteRush user. How do I log in to Orange?

If you are a QuoteRush user, your Equinox login will work for QuoteRush. For the vast majority of our agents, the Agent Code will be the License # of the appointed agent with Orange.

Questions? Email agencies@orangeinsure.com.

Policy service

How do I obtain a declarations page or Evidence of Insurance for a lender or mortgage company?

These documents are available under the Documents tab for each policy. Please note that they will not be available until the signed application has been submitted. Once the application is submitted, the documents typically become available almost immediately.

How do I check the status of an exception review?

Exception status can be viewed in the activity log notes. Most exception reviews are completed within 24 business hours. If the status has not been updated after that timeframe, please contact Underwriting for assistance.
